Thrive Optimize Review and Tutorial
It is hard to decide what online tools for Affiliate Marketing you should use.
Mainly because there are way too many of them! To get the desired result of making a full-time income at home, we have to be frugal on what we shell out money.
Whether you realize it or not, Split Testing is one of those necessary evils.
In fact, if you harness the power of split testing early in your marketing campaign, you will be able to double or even triple your money. (Totally not kidding...)
In this Thrive Optimize Review, we will discuss why split testing is important, how Thrive Optimize answers a lot of those questions, and how you will be able to implement it into your affiliate campaigns.
Why Do We Need to Split Test a WordPress site?
Affiliate Marketing is a numbers game.
The more numbers we can get the more accurate we can make our campaigns.
For example, if I had an email capture squeeze page that converted (or got the user to give me their email address) at 40% and I sent 1,000 people to that page, then I just gained about 400 leads.
Which is pretty good...
But imagine if I change the headline or the picture of that same squeeze page and now I convert it at 60%, I've now just gained 600 leads. Could you imagine getting a 50% increase in leads just because I changed a picture on the landing page?
How much money could 200 EXTRA leads give you on your affiliate marketing campaign? No doubt that number can literally mean $1,000's of dollars in your pocket...
... from one simple picture.
That is the power of split testing.
It can literally mean the difference in making $100 a day or making $1,000 in a days time.
The problem we have is that a lot of split testing platforms are clunky, hard to use, have massive learning curves, etc...
But not with this secret weapon that I have been using as of late.
I can build a landing page, duplicate it, change up stuff for my test, run the test and begin monitoring it in less than five minutes.
Thanks to Thrive Optimize and Thrive Architect.
What is Thrive Optimize?
Thrive Optimize is a lightweight WordPress plug-in that is specially designed for A/B Split testing.
It is the newest addition to the massive Thrive Themes Membership ecosystem. For those of you who are new to Thrive Themes, they are a grouping of about ten plugins that help make the look and feel of your website look like gold.
Some prominent entrepreneurs that use Thrive Themes are Neil Patel and John Lee Dumas.
These guys pack the conversion landscape and bring in thousands of leads a day and making millions of dollar per year, and you can attribute a lot of that success to their website design and layout, which is all Thrive Themes.
Along with plugins like Thrive Architect and Thrive Leads, I firmly believe that Thrive Optimize will become one of the top WordPress plugins that you will need to turn your website from the hum-drum traditional look to a converting machine.
Capturing leads, driving sales, making you money.
I have been using Thrive optimized for a few weeks now, and I must say I am very impressed with its interface and ease of use.
Here are a few Pros and Cons...
Positives of Thrive Optimize
No Traffic Limits
One pet peeve that I have with most split testing services is the fact that they charge based on the amount of traffic you receive. If you expect to have more than a thousand people land on a page you are expected to pay one price; if you expect 5,000 people to land on the page you are going to spend a different amount, and so on.
Thrive Optimize, on the other hand, has no traffic limits. If your website gets a million visitors, there are no extra fees that you need to pay. It will work for the one-time price until you install the plug-in.
Landing Page Design in Seconds
In my opinion, this is really where at the Thrive Architect shines.
You can literally build a landing page that could cost you $300 from a freelancer in less than 5 minutes using Thrive Architect. And we are not talking about just any kind of landing pages, the people at the Thrive pride themselves on giving High converting pages for you to use.
In fact, if you check out the video above I show you exactly how you can build a landing page, and I do so in less than 30 seconds.
Works on ANY WordPress Theme
Like the Genesis or Divi WordPress themes? No worries.
Thrive Optimize works for it as well.
And the same is true about any other WordPress theme. So you will never have to think that you wasted money on a theme and are required to switch it just to use the Thrive Optimize plugin.
I have had some people expressed a concern that they do not want to have to use Thrive Architect and seemingly, 'mess up' their site. But that is far from the case nowadays.
Thrive Themes has made it to where even if you were to install Drive architect and uninstall Thrive architect he changes you have made using a plug-in remain in effect as opposed to the old Thrive Themes Content Builder.
Fast to Implement
If you are familiar with installing outside plugins on to WordPress at all, it is very easy to implement the changes you would have to make to use Thrive Architect and Thrive Optimize.
Even the verification with Thrive Themes is simple to do.
I'm free I'm putting in information, you are ready to go within minutes.
Negatives Of Thrive Optimize
Can Only Use on Pages, not posts
Now this one I do not quite understand, for the most part, Thrive Architect makes very little differentiation between a page and a post.
For that matter, WordPress makes very little differentiation between a page and a post. So why does Thrive Optimize make the distinction?
According to Thrive Themes, Thrive Optimize is designed to be used with a landing page (not landing posts???). Thrive does have another plugin called the Headline Optimizer that can be used with Posts, so perhaps this was done early on not to negate the need for that plugin.
Not sure, but regardless, being able to use Thrive Optimize on both pages and posts is a heavily requested feature and still waiting on Thrive Themes to make mention if they will address this in future updates.
Cannot track external Links
As of now, tracking can only be used on pages within your site. This can pose a problem because I'm sure we all have small Niche sites where the primary goal is to click on an external link to an offer.
To be honest, I can't see this being a problem with most people diving Thrive Optimize.
At this moment, I still have this question posed in the help forum as to whether or not it will ever be addressed, so stay tuned.
UPDATE (2/6/18): Of the negative layed out here, It has been communicated to me by Thrive Themes that the pages restriction and tracking external links WILL be addressed in future updates.
I will come back here and update this post as time goes on if/when these things are addressed.
How to use Thrive Optimize
In the video above, I break down building an optimization campaign using Thrive Optimize, it is so simple it almost seems incomplete.
Jump to 5 minutes and 55 seconds to see the complete walk-through. This includes building the landing page, duplicating it, making the split testing changes, checking out the reports, and declaring a winner. Explaining every step of the way.
Feel free to drop a comment below if you get stuck or have any questions regarding using the system.
Is Thrive Optimize Worth Your Money?
Overall, Thrive Optimize is a no-brainer pick up for Thrive Architect users as well as those using the entire Thrive Themes Suite of plugins.
The sheer value that is being given with the plugin is worth WAY more than the price of it. Sometimes as a beginner WordPress webmaster, we fail to see HOW something can make us much more money than something is worth. That comes with experience.
Thrive Optimize will help you turn up the switches on your conversion goals and these things you can implement in minutes.
Would you like to trade five minutes for an extra $1,000 in your pocket?
I would think so.
Price is definitely a determining factor regarding this purchase. We also cannot forget the fact that you need Thrive Architect to run Thrive Optimize at all. So with each plugin costing $67 for a single site license, it would make sense to become a Thrive Themes Member and get unlimited access to ALL 10 of the plugins and assortment of themes for only $19/month.
It is certainly more cost effective. Check It Out Here for the Full Suite at a much more cost effective price.
UPDATE (2/4/18): Prices for Thrive Optimize is on sale for it's initial launch through February 15, 2018. You can get both Architect and Optimize for $97 for a single site license, $137 for a 5 License Pack, and $199 for a 15 License pack.
So it would be wise to take advantage of this ASAP before 2/15/2018 rolls around.
